Carr’s classic A Season in Sinji has there been a novel that quite captures the spirit of the game. Refresh and try again. Callum MacGregor is a honorable and full of revenge against the man who destroyed his family, Duncan Campbell. As with many books set in Scotland and written by American authors the accents are very inconsistent and change all the time. For fifteen years a terrible crime lies unsolved, becoming one of the city’s darkest and most shameful secrets, until one bitter winter night another body is found, at another swimming pool, and the case is reopened.
Both books have practically the same story-line but I find Miss Garwood’s book more appealing. At the hospital, Tom and Sarah are joined by Paul, an Austrian journalist with his own interest in the amnesiac. He blusters and tries to posture about being the big bad chieftain, yet little Kate can bring him to his knees.

Number 4 in series. I just didn’t feel the actions quibn the situation at times. The story begins as Kate Campbell, a very fiesty heroine who is good with a sword, rushes into fight alongside her clan when attacked by their enemies, the MacGregors.
There isn’t much new, in the sense that you won’t be surprised by what happens in the story. Tormented past, yet was able to overcome it.
This book, however much chick-lit it may be, has true historical merit. Highlander The Dark Dragon. This book was lovely and very enjoyable.
Angus and Brodie’s constant bickering will make you laugh od loud. Quickly, the two fall into a complicated affair against the ghostly backdrop of the ruined city. This book o historically accurate without being overloaded with boring information.

Callum and his men assist The Campbells and their prize is Kate Campbell. The first book in Paula Quinn’s MacGregors series. The beginning frustrated me a bit teh their almost constant repetition if how the Campbells and McGregors don’t get along. No trivia or quizzes yet.
