Also note that there is no shortage of exercises — you velleeman do as ma I picked this book up because I had zero experience with proofs, and was seriously struggling while trying to learn math. Prkve appreciate Velleman’s attempt to avoid mathematics here, but I don’t think real world scenarios often with several factors and grey areas are any better suited to convey the subtleties of logic.

There were many exercises asking the reader if the given proof is correct.
