Review In the author, a wife and mother, decided to take her own life in the hopes of finding peace. I would recommend it and I would read it again.

A victim of childhood abuse and a would-be suicide recounts her descent into a hell of terrifying visions and psychic disintegration on the other side of the grave and her return to life through religious faith. Most of her story doesn’t have any roots tenimore the Bible, which concerns me. The first part deals with Fenimore struggling with addiction, family of origin dysfunction, and depression.

Very much a hard knock life, but at the same time, much of it was the author’s own making. I honestly didn’t like this book. Definitely gives a lot of food for thought. It was so bright and intense that i sat up in bed.

Once she came back from her “death” swallowing a massive amount of pills over a prolonged period of time not just all at once, so as to avoid vomitingshe doesn’t have any need to go to the hospital, even after her husband tenimore in on her and hears of this “death” experience.

I don’t like to judge others’ experiences as “real” or “just the imagination” or a “drug reaction”. Here, she tells of her brief, hellish tour of you-know-where. The author has categorized the book under christian biography but there are problems with what she “learned” during her experience.

Beyond the darkness

Useful for believers in dualism. There were a few surprising revelations in it for me, which I won’t spoil by telling you. Lists with This Book. I found Angie’s experience to be inspiring and beautiful.

It shows hope in spite of hardships in life. No one is really happy or sad, just blank faces with indifferent human expressions.

Very much a thought provoking read. Her journey to hell and back is charted in an darkbess vivid account which proves hard to put down. Interesting view of a near death experience.
